Mercedes-Benz SL 560

NL Beschrijving onderaan!

The 560 SL was specially made for the U.S. where there was a demand for a bigger engine. This 5.6-liter V8 was the top of the line for this R107 and really gives the car the power it deserves. This 1987 Mercedes 560SL has been imported from sunny California by us in 2018. The car remained in Belgium – with Belgian registration – and was enjoyed several years. Due to illness of the owner, the car sat for more than a year and is now once again sold by us.

This car still carries most his original paint and is still in decent condition with some scratches and small dings. The driver door has been repainted due to scratches but this should be redone, a service we can also provide. The rest of the car is in good condition with no rust or bondo to be found on the car. On top of that, the original hardtop is still with the car.

The black interior is also in good condition with redone seats (in original leather) and a redone headliner. The black interior with black exterior is also a very rare combination and very sought after. All electrics work as they should. The dashboard has a cap on it and an aftermarket stereo was installed.

Since the car sat for a year, a big overhaul was performed by us. New air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, oil filter, fuel filter, fuel relais and 8 new injectors were installed. Also all fluids were replaced (engine oil, coolant and brake fluid). The fuel tank was flushed and all suspension bushings were checked and replaced if needed.

Overall this is a decent 560SL that doesn’t break the bank and is ready to be enjoyed once again!


De 560SL was speciaal ontwikkeld voor de Amerikaanse markt waar er vraag was naar een zwaardere motor. Deze 5.6-liter V8 was de top van het gamma & gaf de R107 de kracht die het verdiende. Deze 1987 Mercedes 560Sl is door ons geïmporteerd in 2018 uit Californië waar we hem gekocht hebben van de tweede eigenaar. De auto bleef in België – op Belgisch kenteken – en heeft al die jaren probleemloos rondgereden. Door ziekte van de eigenaar heeft de auto ruim een jaar stil gestaan en wordt nu weer door ons verkocht.

Deze auto draagt nog grotendeels zijn originele lak en is nog steeds in redelijke staat met hier en daar krassen en kleine deukjes. De bestuurdersdeur is vanwege krassen opnieuw gespoten, maar dit zou opnieuw gedaan moeten worden, iets wat wij ook kunnen doen. De rest van de auto is in goede staat en er is geen roest of plamuur op de auto te vinden. Bovendien zit de originele hardtop nog bij de auto.

Het zwarte interieur is eveneens in goede staat met vernieuwde stoelen (in origineel leer) en een vernieuwde hemelbekleding. Ook het zwarte interieur met zwarte lak is een zeldzame combinatie en zeer gewild. Alle elektra werkt zoals het hoort. Een dashboard cover is geïnstalleerd alsook een aftermarket stereo installatie.

Omdat de auto meer dan een jaar stil stond, zijn we mechanisch zeer grondig te werk gegaan. Nieuwe luchtfilter, bougies, bougiekabels, oliefilter, benzinefilter, Benzinerelais & 8 nieuwe injectoren zijn geïnstalleerd. Alle vloeistoffen zijn vervangen (motorolie, koelvloeistof & remvloeistof) en de benzinetank is gespoeld. Alle ophangingsgewrichten zijn nagekeken en indien nodig vervangen.

Kortom, dit is een goede 560SL die je spaarpot niet leegrooft en klaar staat om opnieuw genoten te worden!
